School music programs have a history of tradition. With each generation that passes through the band hall doors we can only hope that the next generation will not only have it better, but make it better as well. Sometimes that is not the case, but when it is, music programs thrive and grow into organizations that carry us, not only through the school years, but throughout our lives. We take what was given to us. We try and make it better. We pass it on to the next group.
